Among the crazy costumes, the celebrities, the video game demos, and the myriad comic book sales, the Happy Seamstress made her debut at Fan Expo!

Pictured is the video-game-loving husband dutifully wearing his world-famous Mario Sweater Vest, and yours truly modeling one of the Happy Seamstress fascinators (which you can learn how to make with our tutorial) and knitting a beard.

Available at the Happy Seamstress booth were print versions of both the Hipster undies and Cheekie undies, as well as Fascinator, Octie and Beard kits. The patterns for the latter two kits will be available in the shop very soon, so keep an eye out!

If you weren’t able to make it to Fan Expo, but would really like to get your hand on one of these kits, the Happy Seamstress will next appear in real life at various craft shows in the Toronto area. We will announce these when they have been confirmed, so keep an eye out for that as well.

Happy Crafting!
